2017 NBA Playoffs Thread - CLE @ BOS Game 5 on TNT

Pelicans, Suns, Timberwolves, Magic, Pacers, Nuggets, Clippers, Jazz, Raptors, Hornets, Grizzlies, and Nets. So 12 teams are ringless.

Unless you count the Thunder, which are technically the Sonics with just a name change.

Felton and Mo Buckets were pickups for the regular season. As long as DeAndre and CP3 are playing big minutes, Doc ain't using those "elite pickups" in the playoffs. 

Austin Rivers is their only legitimate bench player who can produce and help the team. The problem is this:  Crawford and Redick, two proven veterans, are going to limit Austin's minutes. That's why I said above that either Redick or Crawford should have been dealt a long time ago in order to allow Austin to flourish.

Fam, my whole post was a joke. The Clippers are the Hawks west. The sooner these frauds get off my screen the better.

No matter what, Doc's gone. He has to go if the Clippers are to be of any interest moving forward.

I mean the cavs just won one in their entire existence.

I'm just saying like, franchises hoard rings in the NBA. The Clips won't win a ring anytime soon, but we said that about the cavs too and ppl said the same thing about the warriors until 2015. At the end of the day, the Lakers, Spurs, Bulls, Heat, Celtics, have basically all of the rings in the NBA's history. Dubs will probably get into this crew but that's the point. Saying the Clips won't win a ring in this lifetime is like...well duh most teams won't lmao

Only 3 teams in the history of the NBA have never even been to the Conference Finals. The Clippers are one of them. Point being, Clippers can't even get to third base while 90% of the league already has.

You're a Laker fan, you of all people should understand this. You think Malone, Barkley, Stockton, or Nash care about how many "conference finals" they've been too? You think KD went to GSW to make the damn conference finals?

This whole obsession with conference finals is so dumb. If it's going to be about winning let it be about winning. All or nothing. There are no 2nd place trophies and no one cares about those damn conference finals trophies.

Who do you like in the Houston/OKC series?

Honestly, unless the OKC bench can will themselves to score, I just don't see how OKC can win the series. They look so terrible on offense without a playmaker on the floor that its really a miracle they've come this far. I mean down right abysmal. 

Westbrook has got to put up Lebron type minutes for OKC to have a chance and Dipo has got to really earn his worth in this series.  Gibson, Kanter, Adams are all gonna eat as usual but the "others" have to be ready when Westbrook sits or Houson is just going to bomb them into oblivion.

Yea fortunately Westbrook won't sit often.

Dougie and Abrines are going to have to knock down a very high percentage of jumpers, and Taj needs all of Domantas minutes, and I mean all of them, then I give OKC a chance.

.....but, since I know Taj will get his 15-18minutes max, nothing else matters, OKC will be lucky to get a game up.
