We will hear ridiculous "Russ MVP" stuff, and they won't be talkin about the NBA. And it speaks EXACTLY to what I have said around here for years. Christ, SHERMAN even agrees with me, dude hates the attention Russ gets vs his Defense.

But it's cool, if we don't hear any of that, and no fluff pieces about him as the MVP surface, then no prob, he can play his game and it's all good. If he's beating teams 13-7 and I see "MVP" because they're 13-3, I'm gonna call that stuff out. And that's not hate. Never has been.

Interesting. Their CB depth was already very solid and Waynes was set to breakout, by most accounts. Zimmer is all about depth on the defensive side though and corners are his bread and butter.
