Belichik being the GM as well is what locks him down as the GOAT imo. The workload that must entail is unreal. That dudes knowledge of the game knows no bounds.
I also always think about that play a few years back when the Seahawks were playing the Lions. I think it was Calvin Johnson who fumbled at the 1 yard line into the end zone and Wagner just pushed the ball out of the back of the end zone to force a touch back. No one knew that was illegal until after the game and the Lions would have won if it weren't for that iirc.
Bill would have gathered every official on the field and been like yeah you cant do that. And then they would have been like ok Pats win.
