Damn c's how is it that this team is making it without a damn star?

A very good coach with a bunch of mostly young fearless players, and a former decent #1 option flourishing in a #3/anchor role. So many of these younger players don’t know failure/disappointment, so they’re playing with house money. Rozier, Brown, and Tatum will be good for years to come, and even Smart with his Great Value Pat Bev/Tony Allen role. I wouldn’t pile some of these young players together for a shot at Kawhi/etc. This is a #2 team in the east, not a #11-12 team sitting outside the west.

Alright, I'm done dicking around. @erupt you asked for this. amitt5504 amitt5504 @buc em come eat your W's like your boy Winston

We’ll see about that when the series is 2-2 Monday night.

We ain’t losing in Philly

Sixers in 7

The Sixers aren’t an official option on the poll?

You are.

It was Game 1 of the series with the Sixers coming off 6 days of rest playing at Boston and the Celtics hit 50% from the entire floor including three. While the Sixers shot 19% from three where they’re usually strong.

Anomaly just like I said Game 2 against the Heat was.

The Celtics outscored the Sixers by 36 from three and won by 16.

Enjoy our second loss in 22 games.

The Sixers polo is back for the rest of the playoffs starting Saturday. We’re undefeated when I wear it.

League ****ed again

The Raptors always **** the bed vs LeBron

If Lebron goes down it’s to the Pacers or Sixers

I said we’d win the series in 6 or 7. Anybody who thought it would be a sweep was delusional.

Nah chill Boston definitely has the better HC advantage. But if Boston let the trash *** Bucks take them to Game 7 they definitely ain’t beating us 4/7 games.

You don’t actually believe that

You should probably just take an L now so Boston doesn’t have to get washed by Philly in another sport this year

Yeah because Embiid’s 31-13-5 and Simmons 18-7-6 now means they suck since the Celtics decided to have literally their greatest night shooting the ball all season.

Exactly

Sixers were the #1 rebounding team in the league, #1 scoring team in the playoffs and have possibly more shooters than any team in the entire playoffs and they’ve already beat them the last two times they’ve played them with and without Embiid.

If the Cavs play Philly in the ECF they will lose.

If we can just push the pace instead of falling into their trap of slowing the game down we should be able to blow them out of the water. They can’t score with us so all we have to do is keep setting the pace and hit the open shots Dario, JJ, Belinelli, Covington and Ilyasova are going to get.

When talking about QUANTITY of shooters the Rockets are the only team I see that might have the Sixers beat

Buddy....I’ve said in three separate posts now that I’m talking about the total amount of shooters on each team. The Warriors currently have two and a half shooters on their active roster with Curry out and that **** is killing their spacing. Klay is also averaging only 4 more points per game than either of JJ or Belinelli in these playoffs while he’s expected to be the #2 option on the Warriors.

Ben Simmons is averaging 20-10-10

Dario Saric is averaging 21-7-4

Embiid had 23-7-4 with 3 blocks last night

Too young and inexperienced for the playoffs though lolz

There were a couple people that literally said “Miami in 5” in this thread before the game yesterday and were dead serious. Most others picked them to at least win last night (like yourself) and plenty others in here predicting that we’d lose to Miami this series with or without Embiid (like yourself). So if I wanna come in here and ask why it’s so quiet after we win again then I’ll do so, just as people would be doing to me if we lost.

When Boston loses by double digits in Philly the next two games we’ll see what the vibe is like in here.

They have no idea what they’ve gotten themselves into.

Celtics did their job. All we gotta do is do our part and win all three of our home games and win one game in Boston.

The Game 1 hot takes in here for each series have been on some Skip Bayless level of ridiculous.

Or maybe not hit the most threes they’ve hit the ENTIRE season in one game (while doing it at a 50% clip)?

But yeah I’m positive there was not a single game all year where the Celtics had decently open shots. None at all.

5 Prime Ron Artests been glued to the Celtics all year every game off Horford’s moving screens.

When you guys get the same open shots at times during this series I’ll be back to ask you why they aren’t hitting every single one of them like tonight.

This is the luckiest ****ing shooting game of all time by the Celtics.

The Celtics have already hit more threes than they hit in any game besides one last series. This **** ain’t happening again.

This is how you know we’re rusty as hell from not playing in 6 days. We lead the league in passing. We should be running circles around them. They’re a smart team though. Definitely a better version of Miami.

We look like a team that hasn’t played in 5 nights.

Man I usually would think the same thing but the Cavs are so ****ing bad right now other than LeBron and one other player basically per game that I really can’t see them beating this much deeper Raptors team.

I think this is the first Raptors team that can withstand some BS games from Lowry because of the play from Van Vleet, Delon Wright and the rest of their bench.

These are only funny due to the Game 3 premature ejaculation

And we didn’t even release confetti after the game yet the Warriors of all teams did

Dude is complaining about three players dumping water bottles on Brett Brown after his first playoff series victory and STILL questioning whether The Process was worth it.

Dude what is your *** even talking about? Nobody was in the locker room with goggles on popping bottles of champagne waiving around first round champs t-shirts while “We Are The Champions” played in the background. Embiid, Covington and Fultz literally just poured water bottles on the coach’s head for his first playoff series win. I’ve seen players do that for regular season wins or stat accomplishments during the regular season. You’re thinking a lil too hard about this.

Lol

I’ll bet you $100 right now that IF we do make the Finals we won’t be swept no matter who it is

What are you laughing at like that’s some absurd thing to say? Who has more legitimate three point threats in their normal rotation than Redick, Belinelli, Dario, Ilyasova and Covington while also having a center that shoots threes?

Going to get a haircut right now. Last time I got a cut was right before we closed out the Heat in Game 5 in Philly.

Trust The Haircut

For ****s and giggles, some typing with the shirt off from the season thread:

Buc Em’s Updated Current Good Teams List

- Sixers

Anytime I watch anybody else besides the Sixers, Warriors or Rockets anymore I realize everybody else basically sucks right now

Sixers been playing down to their competition waaaay too much lately

TJ been playing like straight trash lately too. Fultz must have taken that man’s soul in practice.

Imagine if the Sixers get the 3 seed, the Celtics end up losing in the first round to the Wizards/Heat/Bucks, the Sixers beat whoever that is in the second round and the Cavs beat the Raptors

Sixers would have homecourt advantage throughout the entire Eastern Conference playoffs and they’ve lost one game in Philly since December 21st...

**** your lil band of bums needing a last second shot and every foul call to beat us while we played awful for 90% of the night.

That’s how you know we’re becoming great

The Sixers are led by a rookie and two second year players and are about to win close to 50 games this year. You’re watching greatness.

I’m also gonna need to see who in the East is beating Embiid 4 out 7 games with at least two days of rest in between games before I say they’re a first or second round exit. Cause I don’t trust any of those teams at the top right now, especially their big men.

Cavs have lost the last two games against us...both with and without Embiid and at their place and at ours. Wouldn’t be so sure of that if I were you.

I still refuse to believe Bron will go out West. So that list reads to me Cavs (if they’re able to swindle some more GM’s into stupid deals and trade the Nets pick for a star in their prime) or Sixers.

Why the **** are you same dudes always bringing up the Sixers and then sucking each other off liking every post that you dudes make about them?

What I’m trying to say is if we had The Real Markelle all year and didn’t blow a few of those big leads the Warriors palms would have been getting sweaty with that 73-9 record

Because the Sixers starting lineup has the highest net rating in the league and the gap between them and the second highest net rating is larger than the gap between 2nd and 10th. Also the #1 rebounding team in the league, #1 passing team in the league, #1 in the league in opponent’s FG%, one of the top benches in the league after the additions of Belinelli, Ilyasova and Fultz, one of the top shooting teams in the league, well coached and have the second best player in the entire conference/top 5 player in the league. In February and March in 417 minutes without Embiid on the court the Sixers posted the scoring margin of a 56 win team. They also were the 9th team in NBA history to win at least 9 straight games by 10+ points. Oh and they’ve only lost one home game in the last 110 days.

Lol

We’ve also beat all those playoffs teams you mentioned plus the Celtics and Raptors the last time we played them as well as sweeping the Spurs, Jazz, Nuggets and Clippers, splitting with the Blazers, would have swept the Rockets if not for a BS Eric Gordon buzzer beater, would have swept the Cavs if not for a loss we took in December without Embiid and split with the Pelicans in a game we didn’t have Embiid.

We will trash the hell out of the Bucks if that’s who we play. We would possibly sweep them. At best they’re winning one game and we’d have home court against them.

Even though I think the Pacers would be the easiest team we could face in the first round the one annoying thing would be you know whoever they face is getting the NBATV treatment.

We’re losing cause I haven’t been home to watch. Just got home, bout to turn it on. We got this.

NT JINX never fails. Go enjoy the offseason thread

Confidence in Ben hasn’t wavered tbh. He’s been making his FTs all playoffs so there’s some improvement. Gotta get that 15 ft jumper asap
