Well that your opinion the 18 did real well here in the in the A the material was not that bad

I’m excited about a DTRT Collection. It’s one of my favorite movies, and Spike Lee is one of my favorite directors.
I was mad back in 2009 when they didn’t drop the DTRT 1s like the first looks. They chose the metallic red and green as a nod to the Sals Pizza box I believe

Personally I prefer the black pair, but no shade to those who prefer the white.

And I’m with The Fresh Prince on materials, hopefully durabuck or some form of smooth leather, definitely would be preferable over the recent IV suede.

If they could give us leather on these like the 2016 white cement IVs, but black, that would be ideal to me.

But zooming in on the pic it sure looks like durabuck or suede

The raptor 4 is nubuck. Looks like thick genuine nubuck too, not like the synthetic stuff on the 2012 Bred 4

Nubuck is a short haired version of suede=Timberland 6-inch Premium Waterproof Boot (two toned sole, never one toned). Suede is typically classified as long haired which is what the shoe you're talking about is.

It’s funny how everyone every sneaker sources said it was a Gucci themed sneaker....Major L’s. I even posted something on sneakernews Facebook 2 days ago about how these are most like inspired by Sal’s Pizzeria from DTRT. Real heads should know the how obvious this was. Put 2 and 2 together....

I don't think it was that obvious. That movie came out 20+ years ago and Gucci is very current so when you see those colors you don't automatically go "Oh man it's Sal's Pizza Box!!" That's kind of unfair but its kudos for picking up on it Sole4realex

It was obvious(less obvious, more like I suspected) to me because I’m a big Spike Lee and DTRT fan. I was hoping they’d do something for the DTRT Anniversary. Honestly, I think Gucci is the first(possibly the only) thing that came to mind.

I hope they look good, and have the Do The Right Thing hits on the tongue or heel.
