I don’t regret this purchase, nor does the lack of contrast cancel this shoe cancel my joy out. Like I said, my 100% satisfaction dropped to 90%.
My left shoe just didn’t get made as well as the right, AND the right shoe contrast isn’t anywhere near it is shown to be. If you look at the bumps and the ridges, they weren’t molded correctly.

I’ve seen other 2019 in person at a mall, and I owned the 2000, so I know that my pair isn’t nearly as visible as other 2019 in thread, or even close to the 2000

They still look dope and imo best infrared retro since the 2000. I’m just glad I can finally rock a pair without worries of them crumbling.

Yeah but it's much more noticeable on some pairs. I have 2 pairs and one has significantly more visible heel contrast than the other while viewing them at the same angle with the same lighting.

Finally scooped up my SNS raffle pair. Yall were right, they did a great job. Minor flaws aside, I'd give this a 96.7. No regrets.

When I close my eyes and think back about MJ in game, these are one of 3 shoes I envision him playing in.

It’s the lighting in this pic. Different light is hitting the pair on the left as opposed to the pairs in the middle and right. The contrast heel just shows up better on the left

Its not just the lighting. My pair has one with, one without. I checked several different angles with all the natural lighting and then some. I am well aware that the "leathery" look was not going to be there on this release. To say "ALL" pairs have it, is not a true statement. 98% of people that have this shoe could give a damn I know. But there is a small percent of people that do notice this difference. No foolin. Still, I am very happy with my pair knowing at the same time that the QC is not what it SHOULD be.
