I think they had no one to create and hit shots. That was always their weakness last year. Jrue as a third option and DJ as a 4th, that playmaking and shotmaking is similar if not more than what Brogdon brought. They’re vets so they’ll be fine in meaningful games.

I’m fine with KCP as a starter. Moves RJ to his natural position at the 3. Between KCP, Reggie, Burks and Quickley (if he gets minutes) the shooting is much improved.
