2020-21 NBA Offseason thread: Officially a wrap

That's surprising because what @BIG LEEMELONE seems passive but zesty dudes are generally flagrant with it. Once in Philly my boy said he got off the bus and a guy jogged up to him and handed him a piece of paper saying that he dropped it. My boy replied to him with a "Thanks, man!" thinking it was a receipt or something. Guy walks off and when he unfolds it turns it was a drawing of a penis with what he presumed was the guy's phone number :wow:

shotsrangout shotsrangout probably reading that paragraph like Mark Cuban

Only happens to HANDSOME dudes.

I've been compared to hella celebs too and none of them look like each other . Everybody from Tony parker to Nipsey. This one ***** at the gym used to swear I looked like Matt kemp. Another dude swore I looked like bryson tiller. Like bruh

I would make a joke about Steph liking the nursing shoe look, but I’ve spent a fair amount of time in medical facilities around nurses and most of them rock better looking shoes than Steph’s UA stuff.

The Nike Free line is very popular among the nursing crowd, from what I’ve observed.

Yeah for me it's Milwaukee and Miami >

Nets have the potential to be in that tier, but we really have no idea how that thing is gonna play out. Probably won't take long for us to determine if they belong.

Yeah, the only reason I have the Nets there is because of KD. LeBron and KD are the only two players I see that can take bottom playoff teams to contenders just by being on the team.

Crazy that training camp is already starting up tomorrow as the draft was so recent. With all the protocols in place will their be any sort of media day??

Not a traditional media day. What I heard on NBA Radio over the weekend is that there’s going to be rolling media access to certain team personnel each day via Zoom as camps progress.

Gravycrocket about to buy every pair to wear to the club with his Amiri jeans. Dummy Rey mo

It feels like shortly after Jordan's second retirement (XVI) that hoop shoes really took a turn towards performance rather than casual aesthetic. Like I don''t think dudes are wearing Proto Kobes in the club nor will they rock Bron, Myrie, KD, etc. retros with jeans in the future. I remember D StaXX D StaXX is an advocate of fits with Lebrons but IONO about all that

It's interesting that the free line is being used, I would have thought they would go for a bit more cushion for those long days. I love the free lines though, I own a couple.

Seriously though, what are some of the best compliments you guys got on the court?

I played against a few university students and they asked me if I played pro. I told em nah, I play for the love of the game, I played it cool, walked off but deep down I was like this:

I also played against highschoolers and was posting them up and hitting Kobe fadeaways, someone started saying that I was his dad. I really didn't know how to respond and it turned out he really didn't have a dad. Starting yelling "That's my dad!" everytime I got a bucket. It was really weird.

Thanks for the info. I'll just wait until some better quality stuff comes out, not that desperate to watch it over Zoom lol.

I would guess that NBAtv (maybe ESPN too) will air team media appearances or at least showing high lights.

When I was in 7th grade, I played in an all-star tournament at the Boys and Girls Club of Honolulu. We won and I had a good game in the championship. Right after the game ended a huge Samoan dude called me “Air Howley”. That’s the basketball compliment I’m most proud of.

Very proud of you for taking that child under you wing and making him/her proud. Did you happen to tell that child that conservatism will lead to prosperity in the future?
