2020-21 NBA Offseason thread: Officially a wrap

Y'all are acting like Russ is a scrub, last season he averaged 27.2 PPG/7.9 Reb/7 Ast/47.2% FG in the regular season.

I think it was the playoffs that swayed a lot of folks opinion of him. He was really bad. I know he was coming of an injury in the latter part of their run, maybe that had a little to do with it. But god damn he was awful.

I'm rooting for dude. And Wall.

So y'all was just play pimping about the whole sleep walk to 50 wins and automatic top seed with Harden? Or y'all finally realizing the jig is up?

I hate his style of ball too but he's a walking 50 wins and much closer to the age of the core. He was definitely better than Bron on defense this year. I'd at the very least consider it.

Came off and injury and had Rona as well. I don't think he was as bad a player as he showed in the bubble. Will he be a great playoff performer, no going by the history; but as a regular season performer he's going to be there every night. Beal is going to be a better player with Russ fasho.

Yeah we talking about how the Clippers.

'Posed to been the 90's Bulls. Blew multiple big leads, look like they already had they bags packed before game 7.

I’m definitely not saying it isn’t warranted. But I also think the Nuggets should get more credit for winning the series than they do.

I really hope they don’t make Rui the boxing out scapegoat for Russ to steal more rebounds. That’s like Jordan brand member on Jordan brand member crime.

Westbrook trick y'all man
Trick people into thinking he’s the guy on a championship team? Sure. He’s still a first ballot HoF guy and great talent. Also his own worst enemy, selfish, and a guy who never really adapted his game to maximize his ability to play winning basketball. He’s a flawed player on the downside of his career. People who hate him and people who Stan him both go a bit too hard, IMO. But I understand how both sides are turned off by the other and dig their heels in their positions. That’s basically this thread in a nutshell

The Knicks tho cmon man

We never experiment with our jerseys. It's always the same boring shades of blue and orange with block lettering
Try some fancy fonts, branch out on the color palette, try some wild designs, throw the ******* statue of liberty on there idc
Best Knicks jersey in recent memory was the limited quantity Dipset one, like cmon man :smh:

Can't even bet BIG LEEMELONE BIG LEEMELONE after Clips/Nuggs debacle. :smh:

We love to talk about players who can lead a team to a ring as the number one guy.

But realistically, you're not winning a championship unless you have LeBron, a healthy KD, Kawhi, and possibly Curry as your best player.

I agree, his style of play isn't conducive to winning nor is he likely going to win a ring as the number one/two guy. But he's gonna finish out the next three years of his contract playing Hero Ball and making $40+ million a year for the next three seasons.

And he's pretty much a lock for first ballot HOF.
he's still often an exciting highlight player, but the last couple of years have been a little uncomfortable watching more people scrutinize his deficiencies and poor decision making. it's become visible. he's a great competitor and will always be known as such
