Honestly it's weird how many people are acting like Deshaun is "vindicated" but in the end, for comparison, Kobe's accuser didn't testify and Watson's been found not guilty, teams will move on and go after a player in their prime if the team that player's on at that moment doesn't want them. Deshaun's not exactly vindicated.

Come on man. Let’s not compare a WR to a starting QB in a market with at least 5 teams in need of a QB at the time. A second and a third round pick isn’t mortgaging your future. Wentz has the most upside of the available options. If he’s a bust we’ll bench him before the escalator clause kicks in, pay him his $28 mil then cut next offseason.

we already know Washington offered 3 1sts to Seattle for Russ, why haven’t we heard of any other team offering anything to the colts let alone to take on wentz full salary?
as I said to you above, the rams had to give up more to the lions so they would take on goff’s full salary because they needed the cap space or top of wanting stafford

I’m sure there were other suitors in this QB-needy market, or maybe they came out aggressive to simply solidify the most important position. In the end they got their guy. Let’s see who starts Tyrod, Tribusky, Bridgewater, Dalton, etc. That’s who was in the market for Wentz.Aside from the PR nightmare that comes with this particular franchise signing a Watson, he has a no trade clause. Teams talk to agents, they know if a player will waive it well before the general public does.
