@finessence
Punk *****

Mans seems like the type to let the homies have their way with his girl :{

Warriors and Clippers are on a different tier.

To put in perspective how insanely wealthy Ballmer is, the Clippers payroll + tax bill this season will be around $335M. Which is the equivalent of someone with a net worth of $10,000 spending $38.

If Ballmer's shares of Microsoft stock dropped 2%, he would lose more than Lacob's entire net worth.

What was the original bet?

He bet $100 on the rolly/tank fight in May. Been ducking zube since. Even gloating. No payment plan. Finessence always talking about being honorable, a stand up guy, a man’s man, telling people to father they sons, him and his boys are official, he’s about his hustle and he will tell you all about women but he ain’t paying $100 bet.

:{

funniest story was Sterling saying ballmer having 2 billion in cash ready to buy was absurd and ballmer asking if he wanted call the bank to confirm it to him :lol:

They need to take it to small claims court. :lol:

Banworthy offense if true IMO.

And they got a chip out of it. Knicks worth more, haven't had to really spend in years and people cry if they gotta pay a little tax to get better.

Maybe it is the capitalist in me but I see nothing wrong with what the Warriors or Clippers are doing. They not only have the money to spend but they are willing to do so and it results in wins/championships (for GSW but at least for LAC they have one of the largest window openings in the league and have for awhile despite their shortcomings). I know markets, and luck to a degree, play a major part in it but maybe other teams should re-think their approach rather than try to hamstring Lacob and Ballmer.

The Clippers were being run like a lemonade stand for 3 decades. Let Ballmer overspend and make up for it.

My point exactly. They should be looking at the broke boi governors and not the splashy ones. Ballmer and the Clippers are an example that things can change damn near overnight with new ownership/change in philosophy. Then there are plenty of other examples of how one trade/signing can completely turn things around (Lakers, Suns) or how good drafting and time can pay off (Warriors, Celtics). League has to chill.

Why is everyone worried about Ballmer’s pockets, Clippers ain’t win **** yet.

EYE am not watching his pockets but naturally wealth comes up when the topic is loaded teams and/or payroll. And while they have not won anything yet, their ability to dive deep into the luxury tax provides them a clear advantage and gives them a larger window opening than the competition, hence them being one of the favorites.

So it was cool when the Warriors did it but not the Clippers?
