If I’m Utah no way am I in on this trade proposal. Giving up the face of your franchise for can’t shoot Simmons, a average role player in Cam Jordan and a couple draft picks is not attractive. Brooklyn is looking for a sucker team to dump Simmons on so he won’t trip them up from signing another young talent.

Hah I just looked up some past matched offer sheets, there aren’t many but EG in NO stands out he openly said he was disappointed they matched.

The Ayton situation is like this one but a few others I read are guys trying to pressure their teams for more money, just business.
I think that happened with Batum in Portland as well

They're gonna stand in the paint for a year+ that he's not a max player, then match an offer sheet that prevents them from trading him for 6 months AND he has veto power on trades through next season?

:lol Phoenix is wild.

Utah saw that Bobby Marks hypothetical trade as the framework

Just sans RJ.

Mitchell isn't worth gutting the roster + mortgaging their future.

They give that up then KD's stuck in BK for the next 4 years
