Something happened to somebody on special teams a few weeks back that I don’t recall what the injury was. But, there was discussion about it at the time and the team (it might have been the rams) was basically saying that teams want to take advantage of every small edge that they can get. Putting your best athletes on Special Teams can help gain that edge. Not sure if I agree with it or not, but that was the justification.

Put it that way it makes sense but the chaos of a kickoff/punt return too risky IMO. Not trying to see Kupp get blasted while returning a punt.
