These racist white dudes really hate successful people of color. How could you hate Ohtani? Dude is a great player and from what I’ve heard even better person. Just goes to show that so,e white folk will never like people of color no matter how successful or nice they are. They need to fire that racist dude and give his job to a qualified person of color or a woman.

It would be a race if we were only talking about Ohtani’s offense. You factor in his pitching too and it’s really not close at the moment.

WAR isn’t everything but Ohtani currently ranks as a top 5 pitcher in the AL

It seemed like the Dodgers washed their hands of him during this whole thing. Very much doubt he’ll be back in uniform again this year even if no criminal charges.

I was considering comparing them too, but it's different. Kobe had been drafted by the Lakers, already won chips and had a relationship with the city. Bauer is an ******* who just signed :lol: on top of the physical abuse allegations (and photos) + rape for Bauer vs the one rape charge on Kobe.
 
With Bauer it's not just the recent allegations. It's the fact that he's had a track record of questionable decision-making and poor self-awareness. He's a distraction that's not worth the talent.
