I didn’t forget that series at the start of the season against the Brewers. Hoskins was popping ****. Mets packed him up in the postseason.

I definitely did. Striking out, caught looking, missing the pop up. But I also know that one swing in a close game is all it takes. Quintana pitched well, Lindor kept hitting and getting on base. All it took was for one of the heavy hitters to flex a little power. Alvarez has been quiet lately. Pete needed this, the team needed this. Lindor got us to the wild card, Pete got us to the NLDS.
