I think it depends on how the season plays out. Like the NBA season is resuming but with a completely truncated end to the season, and a completely different playoff format. If the MLB season provides a more level playing field (intended) for all teams, then there's no reason to asterisk whoever wins it all.

Unless it's the Yankees. Then yes, you're right: they won't ever get legit championship acknowledgement.

I think everyone will look back on this year and preface it by saying something like "that was the COVID year" insinuating that yes some value will be removed from the championship (in every pro sport).

I know * are usually used to diminish an accomplishment but I think in this case it shouldn't. It has to be recognized this is a very special circumstance these guys are playing through

Whole country gonna be forced to wear masks by Fall. It’s inevitable. Trump and his rednecks fought it for months but even Trump can’t fight it anymore. He’s got so little support that now he’s pro mask hoping to get some support back. ****in moron.

Those tweets are crazy. Have teams not been quarantining these last few weeks? All players should be forced to wear a mask like Clint Frazier wore. The chances of Soto spreading it would be so low if they all wore them.

I can't help but wonder how many total you got.
