Bryce Harper has followed the Carmelo Anthony career arc. He has just done it in a shorter period of time.

From a star, to overrated, to incredibly underrated.

Haven’t been in here for a few days, but **** Tingler. Spineless sack of ****.

the unwritten rule of 3-0 is if you’re going to swing, you better hit it out lol and he did!

how he went about it was so corny. Eric Hosmer too.

If you want to get on him for missing the sign, I guess it’s fair game, but you do that behind closed doors to where it doesn’t make the news at all. Being a chatty patty to reporters about it was a bad look.

That said, if you get a perfect pitch on a 3-0 count or whatever the count is, you swing at it. This is a statical driven business, where your next contract largely is based off your numbers. That home run could very well have been the difference between him leading the league in homers this year or finishing second when the season is done.

Finally saw the Tatis Jr. Play and don’t see anything wrong with it. Didn’t even know it was an unwritten rule. Makes no sense, you’re not supposed to swing on a 3-0 count for what reason? To let the pitcher get back in the count?
The one by Miguel Cabrera is worse. He swung on an intentional walk.
The bigger criticism on Tatis should be his terrible extensions. Someone lecture him on that.

100%

Honestly it feels pretty on par with society as a whole right now, everybody looking to be offended and upset at everything
