i woulda taken my chances with Evoldi getting thru the inning. we don't have the bullpen to get thru the rest of this game IMO. needed him to go more than 71 pitches. but we lucked out either way

I agree with you on needing more than 71.
I saw how shook Eovaldi was though after that DONG he gave up, though. He def could have gone 8, but I’m not sure he wouldve got passed Stanton to her that chance.
