2024 MLB Thread; RIP Willie Mays & Pete Rose. Dodgers win #8!

Eh, doesn’t matter to me.

Jk

I just wanted to get a .gif off

2-3-2 format kinda goofy in the WS

Was weird when the NBA did it. MLB should probably go away from it too
yup, neutralizes a lot of the home field advantage IMO. too lazy to check but i'd be interested to see the win percentage difference in 2-3-2 vs 2-2-1-1-1 for the team that doesn't have home field.

I'm surprised NHL isn't the lowest tbh. Always seems the shenanigans are high there

Yea NHL really doesn’t matter that much either. It’s close between them and baseball.

NBA tho, they definitely had to change that ****. Glad they did. It was ridiculous.

elpablo21 elpablo21 Those Kraken games be poppin like that tho? I’m sure they do.

I don’t watch Hockey like that unless I get invited to a game or if the Rangers go deep (then I absolutely become a fraud fan for 2 weeks).

Thursday Night Football is gonna have the lowest ratings in NFL history both cities...there is gonna be no one at the Texans game
I can't imagine it's been Good at all this year after week 1-2.
They parked the games on PRIME from that point on.
I have PRIME but because it's impossible to watch NFL without channel surfinig due to 65% commericals and 20% live action......
...channel surfing is impossible on PRIME interface
So, I've skipped the last 4-5 games all together.

First team to hit 5 or more home runs in a World Series game in the MLB history. Then got no-hit in the next game

Sheesh

Baseball :emoji_fire::emoji_fire::emoji_fire:

True that. As a health practitioner, I'm inclined to tell you guys to definitely get your colonoscopy. Don't put it off, especially if you have a family history of it. Some men have a stigma about it :smh:

As someone who has had GI issues for 30 years (UC at 16 and now Crohn's bad enough it's kept me from working the last almost 3 years as 46) GET a colonoscopy! Anyone who says they're afraid to get it, get over it. It isn't bad at all. They can save your life. I've had, I believe, close to 30 (or over by now since I've been dealing with stuff for over 30 years). They are so second nature, it doesn't even phase me. The anesthesia is wonderful, and the prep now is so much easier than it was 20-30 years ago (stuff you drink isn't bad compared to what was needed back in the mid 90s). I whole heartedly agree with the post above.

As a brain surgeon, I can definitely tell you, it’s by FAR the best sleep you will have 😂😂

Damn straight. Propofol is wonderful. The moment the anesthesiologist says they are adding the syringe to my IV, I count in my mind. Within 15 seconds, I can feel myself getting really woozy. Another 10, I'm OUT. What a sleep. 👍
