I don’t get how people say he’s worried “about getting killed” for trading Ohtani. What about the pride of having an organization that has been irrelevant in the last 10+ years? Same organization where trout has died with only 3 career playoff games? Best player in baseball hasn’t sniffed more than 12 at bats in his career in the playoffs
If he’s smart (since he’s not gonna sign him), he would trade him for as much quality prospects he can get and/or trying to get somebody to eat as much of rendons contract as possible.
