What exactly is the rule violation for someone disappearing and re appearing whenever tf they want?

Like I said, you're right. It's right there in the rules. No name calling, no buying/ selling outside of the buy/sell forum, and don't disappear and then pop back up.
Over 10 years ago, you couldn't see how a movie thread didn't belong in the Sports forum. You still don't understand rules all these years later. You probably still think "But we are a bunch of SPORTS fans. Sounds like sports content to me."
You don't even try to get it, and then the lack of understanding you have is a big conspiracy theory you've cracked. This untouchable list we have with Mr. J right up the top of it because he disappeared and then pulled this *censored* again by coming back and wasn't banned on the spot for it. "But it's annoying!"

Is he not trolling/spamming a league thread? 8-9 consecutive Padres updates like Yu Darvish just got the 2nd out in the 3rd inning, or Jake Cronneworth just singled (only when they're winning, mind you) is no longer considered trolling a thread?
So a team thread was created for him (and thread ownership can be transfered to him nowadays) so that he would leave this one in peace.
I'm pretty sure those trolling/spamming rules been in place 20+ years. Now I'm about to be told those never existed and he can carry on til the Pads are eliminated in a few weeks.
That's definition of mod protection in my book.

No, you're not about to be told that trolling hasn't been aganst the rules for 20+ years. Someone posting about the same team over and over is not trolling. I have no idea what team thread you're talking about that you guys made that was conveniently locked and I conveniently skipped over earlier even though I have no idea what you're talking about, but that was a you solution. Didn't work? It was locked? I don't know anything about that, and I might have even posted in the thread so if you post a screenshot of me posting it and then try to come with 'How do you not know anything about it? You posted in it.!', that doesn't mean I remember it right now, and it also doesn't mean that it even matters. That was a you solution.
That's what you're about to be told, and to a logical person wanting to reach abetter understanding of each other, that makes sense. In years of debating different things with you, though, I know that you don't approach with logic and an attempt to understand each other better. You're an absolute thinker, and you don't give in a conversation at ALL. So to you: 'Mod protection.'
