2024 MLB Thread; RIP Willie Mays & Pete Rose. Dodgers win #8!

Hasn't he had a decent spring leading up to today though? It's just one game.

Not at all not even close

Nice 1st start but those final 2 ST games were nasty in a bad way

2 games into the season and you can see MLB pitching still in a downward spiral.

Yeah, something was definitely discovered about Yamamoto. I know there was tipping stuff from his second ST start onward, but now it just seems like they're seeing his stuff a lot easier and punishing it. Pitch design could help but he hasn't had an impressive showing since that first ST start.

Yeah those games count. Now LA and SD are going to fly home and each play a few more spring training games before the season kicks off for everyone else. Odd scheduling to say the least.

Yea I was confused too. Why people in here were treating what I thought were exhibition games like real games. Was it because it’s the Padres?

It makes sense why they started a week early now tho. They have to get their internal clocks back in rhythm.

I’m still not over daylight savings.

These are gonna be collectors items after this yr. Nobody likes em at all. Next yr everything will be back ...

Wait they are back to playing ST games after these first 2?!? What a weird schedule.

Me seeing that the Knicks and Jeremy Lin are the reason Nike have ruined jerseys….
