2024 MLB Thread; RIP Willie Mays & Pete Rose. Dodgers win #8!

I thought they were done after the 8th. Impressive that the Guardians pulled through.

Also, playoff baseball >

That inning flew by for Yamamoto damn , 10 pitches.

Don't think he's hit 70 pitches yet tonight

Yeah the Mets don’t have an answer for the Dodgers. I’m calling it, it’s over. Pitching for the Mets hasn’t gotten the job done and the offense has been weak overall. The playbook that worked for the Phillies is not the same for the Dodgers. Too many hitters, power and discipline at the plate plus great pitching- that’s championship baseball. Mets got very far considering how bad they were in the beginning. It was fun but this team doesn’t have what it takes to get over the hump. I would love to be wrong but I don’t think I am.

Going to be interesting to see what happens in the offseason. A lot of these guys are going to be free agents, Manaea will opt out for more money (they should resign him).

Going into Knicks mode now.

Mookie breaking this one wide open with that dinger

Triple away from the cycle too

Who needs Freddie Freeman?

That home run was ******* cranked. I can't even be too mad at it... Plus the call on the broadcast was outstanding

The Guardians won? I literally shut it off with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th. WTH :wow:
