2024 MLB Thread; RIP Willie Mays & Pete Rose. Dodgers win #8!

I imagine the outcome of the World Series will play a major role.

🧢 He’s Dominican, a third of that money is going back to DR, Moms needs a new crib, primo needs a new pasola. It’s about the money. But he could pull a Yamamoto and use Cohen to raise the price of the brick and go play in LA or stay with the Skanks. He probably has a number, Skanks just have to come close to it.

He turned down the Nats offer after winning the World Series. I don’t think he cares about anything but money and having a chance to win.
I don’t think think the Nats offered him what he was going to be getting though. Plus they let guys go from that World Series team that offseason.

he rejected $440 for 15 yrs with the Nats. pretty ballsy move to bet on yourself like that with that kinda money on the line.

i can see the Yanks starting at $600 for 10 and bumping from there. just wish George was still around cause there wouldn't be an issue at all if he was re-signing , especially if the Mets were sticking their nose in. his kid ain't built the same ....

Never had a weird sports moment like this for me 😂. I usually root way too hard for my teams, but I'm indifferent to baseball. It feels weird being excited to watch but not really caring who wins. I want the dodgers to win for my grandpa and the city. Would like to see Shohei get one and Mookie another, BUT I kinda really like these Yankees. Judge seems like a good dude, Giancarlo needs one and I became a Soto fan after that last at bat last game.

Go Yadgers!

Man earned the right to stare at that one until it bounced into the parking lot and moonwalk into home plate

Maeda wasn’t worth that 3-team trade to the Twins based on that NICENESS I saw from Brusdar Flow right there…
