The Yanks have been pitching the Dodgers pretty well. Even that grand slam came during extra innings, they held them to 2 runs for 9 innings. Thats pretty good. You’re not shutting out the Dodgers but if you can contain them to 3 or 4 runs and out score them by 2 or more runs, that’s how you’re going to beat them. Easier said than done but that’s the only way. They’re going to score no matter what. If you’re not getting hits, work the count. Volpe could’ve walked in a run in that spot. Stop chasing.
