That blood is cold in Shohei. For him to get the news of Tommy John surgery being needed and then still going out and hitting 4 for 4 w/ 2 bombs, hats off to him. Terrible news for him and baseball, but maybe it'll work in his favor. Angels can DH him and let him get some experience in the outfield next season until he recovers from TJ.

Also in regards to Anaheim, the hot topic of potentially trading Trout to build the team can probably now change to trading Ohtani to build the team.

I dont know if I'd trust the front office to build a better team through drafting, free agency, or pretty much any route. Trout is a keeper and future hall of Famer, and it looks like Sho is headed there, too, for the time being. They need to get the pitching situation situated, and get ol Albert off the books.
