2024 MLB Thread; RIP Willie Mays & Pete Rose. Dodgers win #8!

Honestly the problem is there’s too many pieces and you can’t punish them all. It would be a major problem for everyone involved. They should all be fined though.

Lol no such thing as too many pieces. You want to clean up the sport and not have this happen anymore? Precedent needs to be set. No more excuses.

tee is dope lol

I’ve got the Mets making the playoffs...World Series though? Not sure about that. I did think the same about the Nats though so who knows.

Mets ain't making the WS. What have they done to improve their lineup & replace Wheeler?

A full-year of Stroman will be nice tho.

Dreaming big I see lol.

Why would that be dreaming big?

Improved bullpen, added more offense with Cespedes.

Only were 3 games away from the playoffs last year.

Best pitcher in baseball.

All they have to do is get in like the nationals did.

You answered your own question.
The Mets didnt have to sign too many new players, they just need the current roster to be healthy.

A full year of a healthy Nimmo, Cespedes, and Betances combined with Diaz being 2018 Diaz might be enough for a playoff spot and then some.
