2024 NIKE SB DUNK THREAD_____GRs and QSs added

I'm pretty sure I hated on the Carpet Dunks when I first saw the images - it being a High definitely contributed a bit to that.

But man, seeing shots in-hand showing the shade of transparent blue they used revealing the pattern underneath grew on me .
I can look past it being a High now

There's no way I would trade the Carpets for Supreme Dunks if I had them on hand - couldn't care less about what the resale is on those Supremes. These look way better than the Supreme Dunks to me right now. Kinda kicking myself for not even trying to get them. Only tried a local shop on the day of release.

I know. But the Supreme Dunk low prices are pretty crazy at the moment. I'm hoping prices drop. But it doesn't seem like it will unless they release on SNKRS. I really like the Carpet Dunks. But I'll get more wears out of the Supremes. The blue pair is calling my name.

What other pairs are you trading with the carpets for the Supreme/Nike sb dunks?

Not sure. I have several used pairs from Jordans to Yeezys that I don't wear and another extra pair of Iowa Dunks and the UNLV Dunk, which isn't my size. I have my Off-White Dunks, so I don't need that color way. If I can get rid of my used pairs. I can keep the Carpet Dunks. It's just easier to move the Carpet Dunks.

How are they in person? Quality ? Are they the same type of leather as the gr black/white ?

Quality is alright. Honest, they feel light, leather is semi soft and hard. Tongue is stuffed like the original sb dunks. These look better in person than they feel in person. Comes with white laces. I would say the gr black/white dunks would have the same quality as the hyper cobalt and unlv lows. The Supreme sb dunks are better quality than the gr black/white dunks. But obviously they aren't original sb quality.

lol, goat seller canceled my order on the mean green dunks after seeing the price on them jump $400+ since the day i originally paid

Same thing happened to me twice on eBay pairs for the blue ones.
Bought one at $850; canceled.
Bought another for $50 more; canceled.
then went for one on StockX for about $200 over my original purchase price and that one is actually on the way shipped to me today. I was worried though because even the StockX one was pre-stimulus day.
was so hard just to buy a pair without it getting canceled. I’m sure this has happened a lot with how the price jumped so quickly day to day.

That’s the exact thought I had when I first saw them too. Wasn’t a fan then. Still not a fan now.
