StockX?

Yeah, StockX is trash…. I ordered the fog pair (black/grey swoosh/gumsole) month or so back through a homie that works there, to use his discount. He got em, (he didn’t authenticate the shoes, someone else did), sent em to me without looking over the shoe (in reality, why should he? They should be good, right?!)and they had a HUGE glue stain on the medial side of the toe… I’m not one to care about minimal stuff, because I understand these aren’t hand made/inspected pair by pair from the factory…. But this was OD. End of the day, I took a small loss, and sold em on eBay, because I couldn’t deal with the stain. Homie offered to return/exchange em, but shipping back and forth, on top of already paying shipping to me woulda been too much.

was much more noticeable in person.

Sorry to hear that my man. The pair I ordered just passed inspection and were shipped out to me today. Hopefully they do right by you and either replace your pair or issue you full refund.

I feel like at this point StockX should send qc pictures to buyers before shipping
Ehh… there are TONS of nitpicky “sneakerheads” out there, that would complain about minor stuff. Sending pics to buyers will hold up the process quite a bit as well, buyer would have to reply/OK, and you know damn well buyers would be posting in places like NT asking for their own legit check, which could take hours/days to come to some type of conclusion, which might not even be accurate… in theory, not a bad idea, but wouldn’t be efficient, or logical from a business standpoint.

End of the day, these companies need to focus on accuracy of authenticity, and quality… not quantity of pairs “legit checked” per minute/hour…

No it would most certainly hold the process up. Also wouldn’t be logical from business stand point you’re right because stock wouldn’t be able to just push 100’s,1000’s of shoes out per day so they only look at what’s necessary to keep the money flowing

Fam, hate to break it to you but those are definitely not NDS unless he wore them on a tight rope for the 1st time.

I am happy that you got to acquire something you've been wanting for some time though.

hahaha what makes you think ive wanted these for some time?? Saw em on eBay randomly and scooped them up , shreks aint no grails ma yute....

Gonna deoxidize the midsole back to icy and trade em with fam/friends, i dont even like highs haha

I was hoping to get some opinions here as I'm not much of a dunk guy, more into air max. I've had these for like 18 years or so, wore them once for a few blocks and never again after that. I don't have their OG box, somehow they ended up in a Prod 2 box from that same era. I did some research and listed them at $525 on ebay, size 12. Does that seem high to you guys? I'm getting offers around $350, but then I see pictures of pairs that sold for around that price and they're absolutely trashed compared to mine. Any advice is much appreciated.
