I just got these in the mail and was wondering if I could get a legit check. The gold box is alot different than any other gold box I have. Is this because it's from the Brazil series?

I know nothing about those so take my opinion with a massive grain of salt but those look shady as hell... Gold box started in ~2008 so how did that one magically come from 05?

Edit: Looking again, there's no perforation to the side of the tag on the box, the print looks wrong, aside from the other things I mentioned.

Just did a bit of research on those, they might be a real pair of com.br exclusives.

Ahhh... so 09-09-05 is actually year 2009 because of different date formats? I don't know. Still seems shady..

EDIT: I just searched the product code and the first thing that pops up is Taobao, that's a REALLY bad sign.

No idea dude...but both pairs we linked from FC were made in 2006 and the boxes from respective eBay listings for each pair are both gold.

My gut says real.

EMB series came in their own box, they were only released in the brazil market and made there as well. They get faked from time to time, but there are some real differences between stuff that gets made elsewhere in the world and the EMB SBs.

Brazil has laws about a certain amount of a companies products needing to be produced locally or the companies face HUGE tariffs on everything.

With these you basically have to take every thing you know about legit checking, and throw it out the window.

Theres are real.  All Brazil series boxes are different.  The box feels much more flimsy and is a different color gold.  The tag also is plastic rather than cloth.
