Fisheye works best on a few instances, trying to get a good shot of shoes, isn't one of them. Usually.
edit: this is coming from a man that spent 470 on a 10-17mm lens for a dSLR and shot all fisheye for a few years I learned that it doesn't work great on sneakers unless you get the right proportions and then flex the surrounding area.
