turned 39 yesterday.

I’m glad to read that I’m not the only old head in here. I’m 47 years old. Grew up in the NYHC scene which is where I got my first exposure to skating. I was never good so I just watched from the sidelines while my friends skated. I did get to pick the music while everyone else skated so that was a plus.

Got my white OLs in today and the leather is way nicer than I was expecting and they came with black laces which is a treat

I find the panels inconsistent (some are super tumbled, some aren't, one of my swooshes feels incredible I can't even describe it) but overall the quality feels high (to me) across the board
Dent in the front of the toe box of the left shoe and bottom of the NIKE heel tab is slightly upturned on the right if we're being SUPER picky but everything else I'm more than happy with
First fat tongue dunk and I don't like the visual off foot but on foot it weirdly works lmao
Toebox is roomier than my Anchormans I bought the other day too which is nice
