I'm pretty up to date with the internet SB community between here, facebook, instagram, etc. I haven't seen anybody posting stockx pick ups or any pickups at all of the shoes that have been selling. I know often times resellers and shops pay resale and just wait til they increase in value eventually. So I can only speculate but I still think it's ducktales.

I also recently sold one of my SBs for an absolutely absurd amount of money so I know anything's possible. I'm going to regret this but ultimately I'm trying to build my savings for better things.

I recently listed a pair for an absurd amount of money. If it sells, then I wouldn't be too upset.

I think Stockx themselves are buying up pairs to drive up the market. I’m probably absolutely wrong but it’s just a theory.

I always felt that they put in bids or something cause I’ve seen bids go up after I placed bids then it’s a bidding war, then all of a sudden I’m the only bidder.

Like they put in bids to help get close to asking price so the shoes will sale

I heard GOAT (maybe others also) opened up not only to China but the whole Asian continent here recently. This could possibly explain the overnight jump in sold prices.

This isn’t new. They’ve been doing this. It’s just good business for them.

Yeah they just say the the buyers payment didn’t go through. Has happened to me also.

I have a beater pair of perfect pinks that I got for 35 at an outlet like two years ago. Checked stockx the other day and had so many regrets for not buying the whole wall of them cause they’re literally 150+ now.

It’s crazy to see how the sb game has changed though. Dunks switched back to the fat tongue and everybody hated on the thin tongue, but now this absolute surplus of hype around dunks has driven the thin tongues from below retail to above it.

I bought a bunch of skinny tongue Ishod-era Dunks on clearance at $50 or less. I don’t know why, but I did. I’ve been dumping them on StockX for double or more. I don’t “invest” in shoes - but I’m happy to get out of some dumb spending addict decisions.

Pink Ishod’s are awesome though. I just can’t pull off the color.
