The quality of the 2011 Concords weren't as good as the ones in the past, but to call them "trash" is going overboard with it, imo. And I'm old enough to actually have had the OGs, when they originally dropped (and the 2001s). Just my opinion though. JB has gotten worse with the quality, which is never acceptable to do (ESPECIALLY when steadily increasing the prices), but it's not at the level of "abomination". Btw, I did read that post by John about why some skateshops mark up their prices, and while I understand the concept and why they might do it, that doesn't mean I can't disagree with it. ESPECIALLY in the case of a store like Brooklyn Projects, which I imagine does good enough numbers to where they don't really have to do that kind of stuff anymore. But then again, I'm not an employee or someone with first-hand knowledge about the numbers they do and/or the inner-workings of their company, so I can't really say for sure.

I was thinking the same thing. That's why I was wondering what I should counter-offer him. He seemed receptive to, at the least, a lower price via PayPal invoice, but that would only be $20 or so less, I imagine, but I think he would take lower than that, just didn't want to make an insulting offer. Maybe $250? Any thoughts anyone?
Actually, you might be right. When I called the day they tweeted, they said they had 'em. Then, the next day, when I called and they said "No US Deliveries", I actually called back and asked if they still had my pairs (I was thinking I might be able to get someone to pick them up for me), they said yes for the Nontourages and "I can't seem to find the Levi's, but I'm pretty sure we have them somewhere in the back, so when I find it I will hold them for you", which I thought was shady as F. And it was the same idiot that told me the day before that they could do the US shipping. That guy is a dbag.

So just a little insight on how to best get any SB that drops, this includes the concords. These are just my stratagies and are not facts but I believe the advice is solid. 1. follow your local skate shop that carries SB's on social media this includes twitter, facebook, instagram. As soon as they have any info on a release they will post it on there social media, these are business's they want as many people to know about there product as possible. They are not trying to hide anything from you. 2. Go to your local skateshop and talk to people in person, employees are much more likely to give you the full scoop on a release in person rather then over the phone. 3. Be patient. No one likes to be hounded. Do not call your skate shop 3 times a week asking, "when do the concords come out?" this will only hike up the price. On another note, is anyone else sceptical about the concords dropping nationwide on the same day? This has been tried before and never worked. Examples, the first pusheads that came out did have a hard release date but that came and went with many shops not recieving them by that day. I believe the Skunks and the cheech and Chongs did to. So i guess I'm just wondering if people in here think this is really going to happen as it is truly breaking new ground for a SB release. Good luck everyone out there trying to get these and don't act a fool out there. Be grownups.

That's kinda weird that they come with Zoom air units, but didn't want to go with the SB classification. Well, I guess it's not that weird, considering Undefeated isn't a skate shop...
