No, not stiff at all. The groups that seems small when you run your finger across them are very apparent when your standing in the shoe. It's not bad just kinda tripped me out at first

i like them except the block lettering on the back.. takes away from the "lux" feel.. makes them look cheap...
also they should have added the quilted touch to the outter, instead of behind the tongue ... my 0.02
