I don't get the appeal of the off-white theme . Writing on the outside of the shoe that should be on the inside. And a couple colorful zip ties That's not creativity.

A big part is the limited numbers/perceived value. People will always go after what's rare or will make them some $$$. Like him or not Virgil Abloh is a name in the fashion industry, so Nike markets these as, "cutting edge fashion, high end, and rare."

Basically Nike tells people what to like, and sheeple listen.
