I always thought that the BHM projects every year should be collabs with Black artists, celebrities, musicians etc…Not sure why they keep running with the ~inspired by~ theme, since it almost seems too simple sometimes…They could get a ton of focus on whatever story they run with by simply collaborating with a public figure

I got shipping email from them on Sunday but no movement beyond "label created". It may be a few more days though because they got hit with a fair amount of snow in Baton Rouge from the winter storm last night.

Repped! This is something I’ve always thought! There’s FAR TOO MANY black creatives in the world for Nike SB to not tap into on a YEARLY BASIS! My goodness, there’s so many stories and lanes to express the black experience/history creatively. Hell, the black influence within skate culture itself is in abundance! Nike SB needs to wake up to this. I really do like this year’s BHM drop though but more can be done.
