Those F&F are way better executed theme wise for the wizard of oz than the regular at least to me. I didn’t remember what the poppies were supposed to be about but you can’t forget the ruby slippers. I showed the pics of them to my mother thinking she’d like those more than the regular pair I got her for Xmas and she said they would be nice to have to display but she would never wear them.
You and me both. I bought the WOO SB's for my mom. It's her favorite movie. Idk if she'd wear them either, but she likes shoes with a lot going on with them aka busy.

Haven't bought a new pair of dunks in probably 15 years, and my sneaker purchases have slowed to probably one or two a year overall but they were always one of my favorites and wanted to get back into them. I always liked lighter colors so I know I'll wear these a lot

I don't think the dunk has ever rested. There are certainly MORE since 2020, but there are always dunks. The only time I can think of that there weren't many dunk releases is 80s and 90s. Since 1999, there have pretty consistently been a bunch of dunk releases every year - including SB, 6.0, mainline, and other spin offs (wedge dunks, dunk boots, etc).
It's a flagship, signature nike model. I haven't lived a day of my life since I'm 14 years old that I didn't have at least one pair of dunks. Always gonna be around, I hope.

Riot’s are even better in-person. Really nice materials, construction, and details.
That said - good lort they are uncomfortable. Very stiff and snug. The cork insole doesn’t help either, as it grabs your foot and prevents any ‘give’ inside the shoe.
Will hopefully be worth the break-in - and should look even nicer once it softens up. But these have “Holy Grail” level comfort.

Why do some people here care so much about what others like? Y'all want everyone to like the same shoes but then complain when they sell out because they're impossible to get. Just wear what you like. No need to waste your time wondering why other people like "trash" shoes
