Besides being the Mike Awesome mark that I am, What memorable moment did Stevie Richards ever create? Turning the Godfather into the Goodfather?

Mike Awesome and Tanaka brought the concept of fighting spirit to America through ECW. ECW had a lot of hardcore spots, but when I saw Awesome/Tanaka, I saw resiliency, I saw tenacity, I saw heart. I couldn't articulate this as a kid, but as an adult I now know what we were really witnessing. Outside of Tape Trading, this was the best way to access that "Strong Style."

If he wants a specific memorable moment, how about the Super Awesome Bomb off the top rope or the springboard dive from the ring to the crowd? Or the Running Awesome Bomb from the ring to the outside through a table? Or the Awesome Bomb from the apron through the table to the outside that cut Awesome's leg?

Mind you, I haven't watched one of their matches since the 2000s, and I'm pulling this out. Big Stevie Cool needs to go somewhere with this take.
