2026 NBA Draft Thread

His handle and shiftiness are good enough for him to get to spots where he’s comfortable shooting jumpers, even if a bit contested. He’s definitely a good “tough shot maker”.

What he hasn’t displayed any bit of in college is an explosiveness to then get in paint and put pressure on the rim. Can’t get by his defender ENOUGH and challenge bigs.

I think people tend to forget on the professional level… when elite athletes stand out.. they stand OUT. Lebron, Jordan, Ant, Vince Carter.. they allll stand out amongst the best of the best athletes.

Then, you have guys like Paul Pierce or Luka who are still effective with skill.

Darryn isn’t a super athlete IMO against other grown men in the professional ranks. He looks on par with everyone else.

His skills as a basketball player is what’s going to make him good or great. Not athleticism. I’m watching his games in college and he doesn’t stand out athletically.

Dybanasta looks like an elite athlete. Could be because of height. Skills probably aren’t Peterson’s but yeah. It’s about marrying your athleticism with your skills.

Peterson is going to be measured by how he performs when guarded by guys like Jaylen Brown, Steph Castle or Kawhi, M. Bridges

Last 2 games have looked more like himself. Extremely talented kid

EDIT
yep

Is Andre Mills getting any buzz? He's been the lone bright spot to this awful Maryland season. Redshirt Freshman.

Was way better than Wagler yesterday.

Averaging 19 a game on 49/41 splits in February and March.

Haven’t seen his name on the streets but let me do my research
Pure 2. Good athlete. Plays with crackhead energy and looks out of control, but isn’t.

Selfishly want him back in College Park for next season, but he’s had some eye opening performances recently.

Wondering if its too late for Money Williams too transfer out of Montana. That coaching staff has literally done 0 to help build a winning program around him this year.

I think he's a junior too he's got power 5 talent

Money is nice. Been a fan of his.

Kinda random but does anybody know what happened to Frankie Vision on YouTube? Always used to watch his highlights for all the prospects.

Would we say it is Dejuan Wagner who kicked off the PGU line for Coach Cal?
Calipari had all conference guards at UMass. Dajuan Wagner was his first one and done, so it’s bigger than that. He was a scorer. Darius Washington at Memphis gets forgotten, but he was a big deal in high school.

Darius Washington was that dude. I thought the came after Wagner. But for sure

My wife (Zona alum) was really happy Bradley won and was trying to make the case for him when we were talking about it last night. I just didn’t see it. We watch most of the games together and I only really felt like he was the best player on the team for maybe a couple of the games we watched. Otherwise it was Burries, Peat, the random Del Orso hot from 3 game, or the Krivas/Awoka combo being too big inside.

Bradley is a good player, leader, etc, but I likened it to Derrick White winning MVP or something. Really nice player, but not even the best or 2nd best dude on the team.

While its definitely true that Cal has had guys throughout his tenure (S/o to PR's finest Edgar Padilla), it is definitely Dejuan Wagner that kicked off this rash of elite guard recruitment/production that we have seen from him and that he is known for now.
