People bought Massacre because they expected more of the same, but it exposed 50 for being nothing but a product of Dre beats...on top of Scott Storch's garbage he was no better than any unsigned rapper on the streets.
Blasphemy...Ya'll on some other $$@! if you don't think The Massacre was fire. He got nothin but bangers on that album.
It's what he did after he blew up that made most turn their backs on him. He went totally the opposite direction to what got him to where he was.
How so? He followed the same formula on the next two albums as he did with GRODT. He just added more subject matter about his life at the time. Hestarted talkin about bein rich and effin ***++!% along with the vintage 50 gun play. To me that shows growth and versatility.
But hell he STARTED the Massacre off with:
"N___s screw they face up at me
But on some real $$@! son they don't want beef
I +%@+ that, aim that $$@! out the window
Spray, there ain't a shell left in my heat"
That's classic Fif right there
- Preciate it.

Jay-Z will never make anything like Reasonable Doubt anymore.
Mobb Deep will never make anything like The Infamous anymore.
What artist makes albums similar or better than their first project?
American Gangster was pretty damn close to RD levelOriginally Posted by Spot Rusherz
