Problem Repeatedly Occured on thread…

What is going on with NikeTalk? Viewing a thread repeatedly reloads the webpage and on the second reload a message comes up that “A problem has repeatedly occurred…” with a black screen. The site is barely usable at the moment.

Thanks for letting us know about this. We’ve received a couple of similar reports and are investigating.

To help us narrow it down:

Have you tried browsing the site in a private/incognito tab? Does it make any difference?
What device are you using when this happens?

Safari iOS.

Good lord. I tried 10 times to type that message. Lol Page kept crashing. I am now in private window mode. No problems so far.

What happens is the time it takes to type the above message, the page refreshes. Then when it refreshes, a full page ad loads and the website/webpage then crashes.

I’m having the same issue. After scrolling down a single page of a thread, a second or 2 into the scroll, the page tries to refresh on its own, then refreshes into a white splash screen. It’s very difficult to use the site these past 24hrs.

Cleared my cache and browsing data. I did the advanced version where I kept my history. That seems to have fixed the problem so far.

Is there a way to remove the ads? Being a contributor?

We haven’t received any reports of spam posts in months, so I’m not sure where you’re seeing that but if you use the report link beneath the offending post(s) the moderating team will take care of it.

If you’re seeing the “problem repeatedly occurred” error we’ve heard from multiple users that using a private browsing tab and/or clearing cache/cookies as discussed above helps.

Crashes anytime the ads start to triple up on each other. It’s a miracle that I even got to make this post

Iphone 14P here, Safari browser. Same issue as everyone else but seems to be ok today (I have no clearer cookies or incognito more or anything).

Actually yeah no, still bad. NBA thread I cant get into. I guess the smaller the page the easier it is to work.

Now I just had the problem again on this thread. I shouldn’t have to keep removing my cache to view the site.

Having the same issue. It’s not as bad since clearing cache but still a problem.

I have the pinch and zoom crash issue and the white screen splash issue that randomly happens when browsing on safari, iPhone 14 Pro latest IOS. I don't usually browse in private on my phone. But, my issues are not as bad as others that can't even seem to get a post in.

My biggest issue is Niketalk being super slow and unresponsive. Trying to 'react' to a post will cause a loading symbol to appear and I have to wait before I can even really scroll down. The browser might say something like "this tab is taking too much information" etc. And Ill have to use a different tab or switch back and forth between Chrome and Safari. When browsing privately (macbook air 2020 release-latest ios), the issue is momentarily gone and then after a while same thing.

Can't remember if I tried emptying the cache to solve it but I do empty it every so often.
