hot 97 > all
lol. yeah, you have no relevance or clue

i grew up on 89.9 since the days of richie rich and pete nice. waking up on fridays all bent out of shape from staying up til 5am and switching between thatand teddy ted and dj mr. c, jeff foss on wrhu (fridays), chuck & co on adelphi university radio. i consider myself lucky to have experienced all that.still have mad tapes that one day i will get onto mp3 and share with some of you. still need to get around to that.

do you know wkcr was one of the original fm radio stations in this country? true story.

CM Fam-a-lam got corny after awhile . Bob tried to to play some real left field obscure issh and killed it for me . I'm all for being progressive andlistening to new cats , but alot of them dudes were wack . That`s also around the time underground truly fell off and it became nerded out .

AHHHH!!!! Thurs. nights 1 - 5 a.m. great times man. Taping over moms old TDK tapes and scratching the label off to make it mine. mmm mmm mmm. shame on me.Halftime show (I swore that was DJ Riz & Marty Moore) was dope too but they had clean versions. There was also a show around the 105 area but could neverget good recep. But how homeboy above mentioned the UNDERGROUND RAILROAD????? What was it 99.7? ..................... I remember taping the debut of Protect YaNeck.............wooowwwwww!!!

Do you love bad music? I mean even Power is playin better music throughout the day even tho they suck. Only thing Hot 97 got going for em is midnoght nafta. If you listen to slobber knockin Flex, or Angie you're pretty lame n the morning show sucks sooo I mean really you gotta love bad music. Besides thatthese stations are late late night n mos def aint for you anyway.
