Here's a personal husbands revenge story:
My wifes uncle was married some years back to some trifling gold digger type. He caught her cheating a few months before this all went down. She said she would stop seeing him and talking to the guy. Well she didnt, and he knew it, found text messages etc... He planned a vacation with her to go to DC and they were there for 3 days seeing the sights. The day before they left, he got a hold of her phone and found text from that guy from earlier that morning.
He then proceeded to empty her purse, took her phone, wallet, etc Packed his bags, checked out of the hotel and caught a early flight home, leaving her stranded in DC and took all her stuff to her mothers house all before she got back home from vacation.

If it's a joint custody state she would be entitled to half of the property. Since he rendered much of the property essentially worthless, he caused material damage to her.Can someone explain to me how this is illegal?
