Really like what adidas does with the primeknit compared to other brand's "knit".

Definitely considering the swap -- this half size down has worked, but if I end up with another pair of these I'll probably go TTS and for sure switch the insole.IKS - switch that paper insole with a Rose PU one. Takes that dead space right out.
I don't think its the shoes. I tore my acl playing in Kobe IXs and those are great basketball shoes. I think it has everything to do with your hip-knee-ankle position on landing and jumping. If you plant then turn and one of your muscles doesn't fire correctly it can twist your knee and blow your acl (exactly what happened to me). If it has anything to do with the shoes, I think its the fact that modern sneakers are so light and comfortable now. People feel lighter on their feet and are making more dynamic twists and turns than they would in a bulkier shoe. It's terrible to see a player get injured. A serious one at that. Know there's gonna be blame on the brand right away. Looks like he planted too hard (no roll over or anything) and his knees just gave out.

I've been reading so much about this for the past 9 months lol.
Though it wasn't the shoes, Adidas shoes have taken a HUGE leap in quality and comfort over the last few years. I had some Roses and some crazylights. They were terrible. Boost is probably my favourite cushioning now. If they do a full length boost ball shoe, I will probably leave Nike until they match that comfort.Yeah not saying it's the shoes but you know ever since the Rose injuries people have been blaming the injuries on Adidas' shoes, which is absurd. From the vine video you can see his body is twisting a little before landing and when he planted his foot, which the shoes stuck to the floor, his knee buckled.
I agree. Coming off of meniscus surgery I had lot of trouble with sneakers with zoom airbags. They would feel amazing but after a game or two my knee would be sore and I'd have to stop. I didn't have a problem with retros that included zoom like the Flight Ones. I think its mostly because the zoom airbag was surrounded by foam. I also had no problems playing in lunarlon or any other foam for a long period of time.Don't want to derail, but anything that "returns energy" has injury potential. Think about it this way - you land and a foam absorbs and disperses. Energy gone, but shoe feels dead. Zoom and Boost - you land and energy is returned back up the leg - in theory- causing a ripple effect as the body comes down and energy goes up. Instability instantly, if you don't have body control.
Just a theory.
I like those. I've been waiting for the green ones especially.
Wiggins Home came today. I don't know how they apply the design on the primeknit but it's amazing. Hoping for more designs.

Nice you got your pair!
Kinda regretting my decision to pass up on the white/reds while in korea. Really love the design of this shoe and how it plays.
I suggest TTS but with a better insole. For me, TTS with the normal insole it feels huge, but I put in a normal thickness insole and it was perfect. Just what's currently in there is paper thin.
so half size down on the crazylight primeknits? looking to buy the wiggins pe pair.
