ADIDAS BOOST Thread - PAGE 1 for INFO- *NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING*

This is where y'all misinterpreted my post. I said I seen them in hand, never said I had them in store. They asked me if they were the final version cause they wanted to know what the PK pattern was gonna be and I told them it was basically the instore model meaning it's the one that's gonna go to stores to sell to the public.

Dude you just talkin' out your *** now. There was NEVER a 9/13 release date for those so there wasn't a date to be pushed back i the first place.

The whole thing has already been chalked up to people misinterpreting posts and overreacting.

So the date got pushed back but they're still sitting at the store you work at?? That's not how it works. Y'all would've never received the shoes so far in advance period if they knew the release date wasn't the 13th (which they obviously did).

Unless you're saying you held them in your hand somewhere else other than your store but it seems like you're really trying to talk yourself up like you're an inside source or something

Don't really think that lace swaps do justice to most of the UB's but the few I've seen that are good are

To my Canadian pals, Footlocker just dropped the CB 2.0 for 209.99 CDN. Dropped earlier today but I was at work so I couldn't post. Sizes still left when I went and there was a huge stock that shupped. Some were able to buy from Footlocker Canada to get shipped instore for pick up.

Thanks, I'll have to take a look locally! Where are you located? What do you mean by able to buy from Footlocker Canada? Like online, or order them at a local footlocker that doesn't have them, and get them shipped to your local store?

Live in Ottawa, Ontario so definitely a smaller market than I'm used to being from Vancouver. We don't have a house of hoops and have to get hyped releases from outside the city. We got 40 pairs in each of of 4 main foot lockers (which aren't that big?).

What I meant by Footlocker Canada was that if you went into store, and they didn't have your size instore or in the city, they can check their factory inventory to order a shoe in. A couple people did that instore today.

personally i dont like the non full length boost shoes, its a tease to the rest of your foot. alot of the boost basketball shoes are like that.

I've read some reviews and actually the shoe has much more boost that what's showing in the pics ... Anyway which shoes have you tried on with a non full length boost sole ? And have you worked out in them? 

I don't know what you voted in the latest poll, but I do like to wear my stuff, in the gym, on the street even at work if I can,  boost is MAD (as we all know) comfortable man, no matter the shape of it, it gives an amazing felling to your feet, why would I  let that away from my workouts ?

Haven't been in here for awhile... But my white UB 1.0 are pretty worn from walking around everywhere on vacation. Nubs are gone, toe area fraying, and black denim dye around the collars of the shoe.

Thinking about replacing them with the white Energy Boost 3

Or get the white UB 2.0s instead?

Haha that pic is from the 2nd or 3rd time I wore them, definitely none of those things have happened to the shoe.

For what it's worth they still show basically zero wear after about 15 times out.

Just read the last 40 pages and ate about two movie buckets worth of popcorn.  Pure gold.  Did pcgvrtx join sprite remix as the new thread clowns?


A couple updates:

- Painted Boost - been wearing/running in my solar red 2.0s which I painted in July and no cracks or white showing (beyond the bits of white left from my shoddy paint job).  To revisit, I stripped the coating with acetone, used Angelus dye (2 coats) and Angelus jet black paint (2 coats) and then Angelus Matte Finisher (2 coats).  Boost has some dust on it from dirt path, sorry.

Just in time for Halloween.. even got the 10$ Gildan tee to throw under a orange/brown Flannel and some skinny denim.. This colorway is so badly slept on and I am trying to double up as we speak! That orange is too nice in person. Easily one of my fav color ways thus far.
