Not to skate, but I damn near broke my own ankle crossing over my 9 year old nephew last summer. Where the boost touched Pavement was all chewed up.

I'd imagine a skate deck would chew up the boost as well, on the sides.

Probably will suede patch or shoe goo the Boost sides to prevent wear/ tear. Copped hardens and tangos since they’re the closest to a skate shoe with ankle support. Also copped superstar boost but like the dorado, they’re both lows.

I think Adidas is stupid for potentially using the textured heel cups. But I do feel like if they released it as OG everything, they'd be an auto sellout.

I just noticed.... these would've made for the perfect Chinese New Year Ultra Boosts. Something that's always annoyed me with the UB "Chinese New Years" colorways are that they never include the colors Red & Gold... which are HUGE during Chinese New Years.

What‘s wrong with textured heel cups?

It looks cheap to me. Nothing necessarily wrong with it but if they were going to do something special I'd prefer they went with leather or the Trace Cargo 3.0 style. Not really a fan of the matte 3D printed style.
