whelp for whatever reason a few sizes restocked on SSENSE was able to scoop up my size! Personally think the "Friends and Family" blue one is better but these will do.

EDIT: Or I guess that blue pair was a Japan "exclusive" for the instore opening of a store down there.

Are you talking about the Solar Hu?

Yes, it was a Japan exclusive (managed to pick it up from that drop), but BBC in NY later had pairs via Frenzy (in-store only, IIRC)

Not personally aware of the NMD having an alt cw.

Yeah. They switched to that box earlier this year. Don’t know when it started, but some of the UB19s had them already (thought they’d sent me some replacement box at first), and now every 1.0 I’ve gotten recently (Husky, SMTM, these) has them. RIP yellow box.

It would have been nice to have the standard UB laces, with these anemic rope laces (if they insisted on including them) as the extra set.

Otherwise, pretty standard fare LTD-level stuff aside from the footbed and skull branding on the right tongue. Hopefully they get a wider release, since I plan on picking up the black pair eventually. Comes in a regular ‘19 black UB box.
