Adidas NMD thread

You know that shiny **** on ur boost thats the protective layer. Listen to people that have been around for a while.
No need to be a **** about it, all I asked for was proof since there's never been any definitive proof as to whether there's something added or that's just how the boost comes out of the injector. Furthermore, I've been around for a while as well, I just don't post here often. Posts that are hostile like yours are specifically why people are leery of these forums as newcomers and just turns away actual discussion; I agree with him all that I was asking for was proof and when is that ever a bad thing to ask for?

Who would be dumb enough to clean boost using paper towels with dye in them? I'm talking about plain white paper towels. And really what I recommended was a white cloth, with paper towel as a second option.

As I said, exposure to chemicals speeds the yellowing process of boost, that's a well known fact. There's a transparent, extremely thin layer of protective material on boost, it wears away as you wear the shoes, but also is worn away faster if you use chemicals to clean, and yes I'm counting soap as a chemical here.
Thank you for the info

I've never used anything but plain paper towels, I guess I'll switch to micro fiber

So just water and a cloth?

grateful i never use much dishwasher soap...

Yeah, ignore my advice after what I said earlier when it comes to clorox wipes; I was wrong, I'm admitting I'm wrong. Sorry about that.

Micro fiber would be fine, I just use a cheap washcloth generally. I wet the cloth down, swipe a few times, and then rinse the cloth quickly to make sure I'm not just spreading more dirt on the boost, then repeat until I feel like it's done.

If there's a spot that has a really bad smudge or something that won't go away with just water, I either leave it as is, or if it's an especially worn pair, I might try and use some soap but I avoid it if possible, plus I've found soap rarely even makes much of a difference. Once something has set in enough that it won't go away with water, it's usually there for good.

My OG NMDs from ADC just got here! They are fuego.

Update on sizing. I'm a true 8.5 and usually are size 8 in adidas but I think I can fit a 7.5

so while everyone has said that they fit a little more snug vices the last one where you had to go down .5 you are recommending to go a full size down/???

Maybe this will make more sense

Ultraboost I'm an 8.5
V1 Yeezy 7.5-8
V2 Yeezy 8.5
MESH NMD 8
These PK OG NMDs (if I want a snug fit 7.5) but I can fit 7.5-8 and I think 8.5 would be too big.

Keep in mind I don't have wide feet so that can play a factor. I say .5 size down to be safe even if you do have wide feet but I definitely would of liked a 7.5 more because I want that snug fit. Hope this helps?
