Adidas NMD thread

Hey there!

long time lurker here who finally decided to give in and join.

I literally joined NikeTalk for this Adidas thread, caught the NMD bug a while ago and got frustrated with the constant OOS everywhere so I decided to keep an eye on this thread when I found it.

I have to thank you all for that since the amount of info. is amazing here.

The reason why I wanted to make this account is to give you guys a heads up about JD Olive pairs, basically I placed my order as soon as the shoe went live (even before some here were posting links about it since I've been following this drop for about two days now) for some reason my Paypal payment was under the "pending" tab for too long so I decided to give their support a call.

basically what they said is that the shoe is out of stock and they will cancel my order since their website doesn't update stock in realtime.

I had ordered a 9.5 UK which is my size and I was told it's out of stock on the phone, decided to go half a size up (which is shown as in stock on the website as of now as well) but support told me even this one is out of stock. seems like the demand for these is crazy. 

As of now these are the pairs I own, I'm not in this for reselling as I really do enjoy wearing them.

Currently waiting for my Earths & Offsprings to arrive.

Waiting for the OG drop later this December :smile:

Did you get the "Your JD Order xxxxx has been received" then the "Your JD Order xxxxx has been accepted" emails? Hope that means I'm in the clear.

Yeah I got this email as soon as the guy told me my order got canceled so I gave him another call, he said it's an automated email that their system sends which is why I'm confused now.

At this point I don't know if he's tripping or if their system is, but as you know on all of these websites all customer cases are different so it might be that you're in the clear.

I will keep you guys posted in case I get any further emails from them whether a cancelation or a dispatch, hopefully the later but I'm not having high hopes haha.

Yeah, their store and customer service dept. sounds sketch from what I read online just now. Giving out fake tracking numbers and stuff. Guess we'll know when we have the shoes in our hands or we don't

Why is there a red x on the shoebox? Did seller purchase from store with no return policy?

As for the box, I've purchased the Beige at retail with blue glossy and black non glossy boxes. I'm sure that some came in that blue non glossy box.

Too bad the Bape NMDs are going to be mesh. I would be way more excited if they were closer to this concept. Probably would have been hard to do the pattern in the PK but it's way better then mesh. Plus I know the whole coloring boost thing is still not 100% but those khaki accents are fire

Comfort is terrible. Jordan 1 level, if that.

Damn forreal? I only tried mine on a couple times but they didnt seem like theyd be that bad.

My glitch camo nmds hurt a spot on my foot though for some reason. Those are the only ones ive worn extensively

I'm guessing its a display pair. Seller was at the store when we where having the transaction.

i just got the cancel order email from JD as well on my olives. says its a security reason to protect customers and there was something in my order that got flagged lol wtf ever.
 
Now the sizes that were marked as sold out yesterday and "back in stock." Smh. Really wanted olives. Oh well
 
Okay so I just got off the phone with JD support for the 4th time today maybe, stopped keeping count.

After I've been told my Mr. Midnight support dude that he's going to cancel my order because the size I chose was out of stock already my Paypal went from pending to confirmed.

The weirdness didn't end there, I got sent an email that says my order has been canceled after the payment had been deducted, called again and was told by Mr. Morning shift (real nice guy) that my order was in fact not canceled and I have to wait it out for a couple of hours and check back with them the status of the order and see if it is canceled for real or not, While waiting I got an email saying my order has been dispatched.

Called after than for the last time just now and was told by another support personnel that my order has in fact been dispatched and is on it's way from their warehouse to the courier's and they will issue a tracking no. as soon as it gets one from the courier but JD's website has a handy tool for tracking with the order number anyway to make it easier.

My advice would be to wait it out, maybe someone's case here is like mine and that's why I felt I should share this.

Here's the email mess + JD tracking sowing it has been dispatched.

tl;dr: JD olives order got canceled/$ deducted/accepted/rejected/dispatched in that order.
